I am heading off to the lovely western shores of my country for a few days rest and relaxation so I shall start blogging again upon return.  Have a great week xx

Move over wide foot coming through

Take a look at these wide fit shoes. Sexy or not? attractive yes or no? Comfortable? I don't doubt it. BUT and this is a big BUT (you'll notice I used one T ) there has to be something more out there than shoes like these!!!


I am on a mission to find lovely, attractive comfortable shoes and if there aren't any out there, I'll make them myself. Dear reader I am not kidding you. If  a shoe brand cannot be found then lets create one.

Crocs: Cool for feet or not?

I have to say before I begin that I am not a convert to crocs.  I have never liked them and am sorry to say that I doubt I ever will. The problem is the way they feel on my feet.  Now having said all of this I hear many people say that they will never part with their crocs, so have crocs had their day or are they the go to footwear for people with funny feet.

I understand from the people who have expressed their delight at this brand of footwear that it is the fit of the footwear that is number one on the list of why you'd consider wearing them. Roomy footwear is becoming more and more difficult to find thanks to the runway bring out constricted versions of what was normal footwear once upon a time.  So take a look at these wonderful inventions and tell me thumbs up or thumbs down.... if you have a case for or against these shoes, then come on leave it here for me, you never know you might just change my mind.

An irregular choice sounds just what we need!

There are few brands out there that are fun, fresh and funky.  I've been a huge fan of Irregular Choice for such a long time. I would love to own a million pairs but alas they don't squeeze easily into my budget.

There are great opportunities on ebay as well to own a pair at a greatly reduced price.  The thing about Irregular choice, is that they produce such modern and interesting designs without compromising the foot health of women with foot problems.  If you take a look at some of their designs you can see, small heel height and great support built into the shoe via straps either over the foot or around the ankle.

If you fancy trying something a little bit different but still taking care of your feet, then why not treat yourself to a pair of Irregular choice.

Not everyone is gifted with the ability to wear 5 inch heels

Well hey there!  Welcome to the new place to be when it comes to finding footwear to help people with "funny feet". Oh I'm not being rude by calling your feet funny, you see I have what I have termed "funny feet".  The definition of "funny feet" are feet that don't really fit the high street brands.

Are you always trawling from shoe shop to shop trying to find a great pair of attractive, funky shoes but your feet are never willing to fit inside a single pair? Then this is the place for you.

I have a neuro muscular condition called CMT and part of the problem I have is finding shoes that are a) well fitting, b) stay on my feet c) not to high and not completely flat.  I know I am demanding; but the thing is many people are the same. There are probably thousands and thousands of people out there with the same problems and even worse ones.

So the intention is to build a resource of daily postings about shoes we find and resources for shoes.  I hope you like it enough to recommend us to your family and friends who have "funny feet"
